Keep This Between Us: Release Date, Plot, Cast and more!
Keep This Between Us is a mini docu series that talks about the prevalent status of grooming in American high schools and Nichols’ past experiences of it. It highlights how such things are accepted helplessly by the victims and that what aids in the continued acts of exploitation. Keep This Between Us: Plot and Cast
The primary cast of Keep This Between Us features Cheryl Nichols who is ta narrator as well as the protagonist of the docu series.
The plot of Keep This Between Us revolves around Nichols who, during her high school days, laid her trust on her high school teacher only to later realise that what she went through is horrifyingly common. As Nichols narrated, she opened an email that was sent to her by her former senior school teacher, a paedophile. In the email, she was designated as “Dearest Pony”, and was advised to never compose a mail with her real name. The received email further reminds her that it deals with something that is their “little secret”. The rest of the content dealt with nothing but “more and more sexual” matters. This show puts forward Nichols journey to re-dig into the improper relationship that once existed between her and her high school teacher when she was 16 years of age. It aims at exposing the pervade of grooming in the high schools of America while investigating the consequences of such predatory relationships built between young students and older teachers.
Keep This Between Us: Release Date
Keep This Between Us releases August 29, 2022, on Monday on Freeform at 9:00 p.m. ET. The mini docu series comprises four episodes. The series will launch the first two episodes on the day of the release.
