Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic scorching the world through its spread, the entertainment industry has also suffered, but we found a lovely moment when Kelly Osbourne, 35, finally got to hug her beloved brother. She was asked to stay away from her brother Jack (who has multiple sclerosis) and her father Ozzy (who has Parkinsons) due to recurring symptoms similar to a covid19 infection.
“Omg omg omg I got tested and I am negative for covid and I finally got to hug my brother. 😭😭😭 sadly I was exposed and was showing symptoms due to my brother having MS and my father having Parkinson’s I was told to be tested.”
She said after sharing a lovely video of her hugging her brother.
Kelly did get to see her parents last month but at a distance.
“Today was the first time I got to see my parents in almost 3 weeks!!! Even though I did not get to hug them…. at this point, I will take what I can get” – She wrote on Instagram (March 26). Kelly told her fans that her family has been isolating themselves and while she met her dad, Ozzy, and her mom, Sharon Osbourne, she was not allowed to come near them, to which her father said it broke his heart. After showing symptoms of the covid19 Infection she was asked to stay away from her parents and her brother as her father and her brother both suffer from diseases and a covid19 Infection shall worsen their conditions.
Like any other virus or disease, this virus does not distinguish between rich and poor, common and celebrity or any other such tags. The coronavirus can spread its wing and encapsulate anyone that comes in the way (and probably kill them if they have a weak immune system). Earlier this year, Tom Hanks and her Wife were also diagnosed positive for the virus, but are now safe and doing well.
As the world suffers from serial depression and apparent cynicism, celebrities like Kelly spreading positive news and being close to their family while practicing social distancing proves that people are winning this war.
