Kid Cosmic: Season Details, Release Date and more!

Kid Cosmic is an American animated superhero streaming television series. Creation of  Craig McCracken and in-house produced by Netflix Animation. The show is the first of McCracken’s creations to have a serialized format. Therefore, his first attempt into the superhero genre since having previously created The Powerpuff Girls. What is Kid Cosmic about?

The show follows a young boy who naively fantasizes about becoming a superhero. Living in a desert area somewhere around New Mexico. Upon discovering the “5 Cosmic Stones of Power” in a wrecked spaceship, he gets the chance to fulfill his dream. Therefore, forms a team of superheroes of different ages, backgrounds, and gender in order to fight alien invasions. This team includes Kid’s grandpa, Papa G (Old Man Many Men), whose ability is to multiply himself. The female leader Jo (Portal Girl), can teleport things.

Similarly,  Rosa (Big Little Girl), a four-year-old girl who can become a 40-foot giant, and Tuna Sandwich (The Precognitive Cat), a pet cat that can predict the future with the third eye on its forehead. They are followed by the evil Stuck Chuck, who’s stuck on Earth for having lost his legs while also on a mission to get the Cosmic Stones. What will the kid superhero team do to save the city?

When is the show releasing?

Season 1of Kid Cosmic is now streaming on Netflix. The show released on February 2, 2021. It is a fun show to watch with your kids!
