Kiddie Kai: Plot and Cast
The docuseries focuses on the inhabitants of The Blackbelt Byway, a southeastern region of the United States, popularly known to be the hotspot of martial arts. The rumors have it that every corner of The Blackbelt Byway is having a dojo, i.e., a traditional place dedicated to the practice of martial arts. Each dojo claims to be better than the other one in the region, or rather even the best among them all, and naturally, the parents, as they want the best for their children, find it hard to choose one over the other. They desire the best and the top sensei to train them for the battles ahead.
The facilities in the region welcome kids from all and every background and train them in order to bring out their full potential which will lead them to acquire and thus, become blackbelts. The senseis take a keen interest in their students, coaching them and nurturing their competitive nature. For these young talents, the word of their sensei is the word of law. The kids who prove their potential and inspirations in the field are provided with the opportunity to display their confidence and the discipline that make them the best of their selves. Needless to mention, some rather interesting butt-kicking is also involved.
The cast of Kiddie Kai includes John Chung, Cliff Kinchen, Jeff McGregor, and Sifu Mark Williams, all as self.
