The first season premiered on 8th April 2018 on BBC America and BBC iPlayer on 15th September 2018 through BBC Three. The show has been a huge success in the United States as well as the United Kingdom and has been praised mainly for its writing and the performances of the lead actresses. It has been a recipient of Peabody Award and British Academy Television Award for Best Drama Series.

The third season premiered on 12th April 2020 in BBC America and 13th April 2020 on BBC iPlayer and ended on 31st May 2020. The series was renewed for a fourth season in January 2020. Every season had 8 episodes each with a running time of 41 to 55 minutes. The series has an approval rating of 96% (Season 1), 93% (Season 2), and 80% (Season 3) on Rotten Tomatoes.

Killing Eve was renewed for a fourth season in January 2020 but filming has been delayed till June 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
