Knives Out will Stream on Amazon Prime in June!

“Nothing brings a family together like murder”. Knives Out is a mystery film written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Johnson and Ram Bergman. The movie premiered at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7. It released in theatres in the United States on November 27, 2019, by Lionsgate. The film received critical acclaim, for its screenplay, direction and acting! It was also nominated for ‘Best Original Screenplay’ at the Oscars. Lionsgate announced that a sequel was in development in February 2020.

When Is Knives Out Releasing On Amazon Prime?

Amazon Prime took to their Twitter handle and said “Okay okay we’re just too excited to wait! Knives Out is streaming exclusively on Prime Video June 12”. We are also too excited to wait! This comes as exciting news for all of us who missed it in theatres.

This modern whodunit has a stellar, ‘larger than life’ cast! It includes Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc(a detective), Chris Evans as Hugh Ransom Drysdale, Ana De Armas as Marta Cabrera, Jamie Lee Curtis as Linda Drysdale, Michael Shannon as Walter Thrombey, Don Johnson as Richard Drysdale. What Is The Movie About?

Knives Out focuses on the Thrombey family. This movie feels like an ode to the old age murder mysteries! Harlan Thrombey played by Christopher Plummer is a wealthy mystery novelist. He is found dead in his study after his 85th birthday party. The detective Benoit Blanc is hired to investigate his mysterious death and Blanc deals with Thrombey’s flawed family and devoted staff to uncover the identity of the murderer. What follows is a perfectly portrayed whodunit, with the right amount of satire, mystery and thrill!
