“Nothing brings a family together like murder”. Knives Out is a mystery film written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Johnson and Ram Bergman. The movie premiered at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7. It released in theatres in the United States on November 27, 2019, by Lionsgate. The film received critical acclaim, for its screenplay, direction and acting! It was also nominated for ‘Best Original Screenplay’ at the Oscars. Lionsgate announced that a sequel was in development in February 2020.

Amazon Prime took to their Twitter handle and said “Okay okay we’re just too excited to wait! Knives Out is streaming exclusively on Prime Video June 12”. We are also too excited to wait! This comes as exciting news for all of us who missed it in theatres.
