Log Horizon is a Japanese novel series written by Mamare Touno and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara. It began serialization online in 2010 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō, being later on acquired by Enterbrain and published as a light novel in Japan since 2011.
Created by Satellite Studios, Log Horizon revolves around an insanely prevalent multi-player game called as MMORPG. The game goes on till 11th edition as so does the regular lives of the gamers. But something strange happens with an update of the game. Players who logged on by the time of an update, found themselves trapped in the virtual game world. All in the exact same avatar which they had in the game. The lead character Shiroe, along with his friends, Naotsugu and Akatsuki, decide to team up to tackle the deadly new world obstacles thrown at them. The story follows the escapade of their existence and escape.
What To Expect From Season 3?
The third installment of Log Horizon is expected to arrive this year in 2020 but with the current pandemic, the situation might trigger postponement of the release. The last series premiered about five years ago in 2015. Fans are going insane about the third installment of Log Horizon. The production house reportedly ran out of content for the third season which resulted in the five-year-long wait. Now that it’s official, we can’t wait.
Log Horizon 3 will see Shiroe played by (Mike Yager), Nyanta played by (Jovan Jackson), and Naotsugu. Other members of the cast are, Akatsuki, Tauya, Minori, and Mariella. The show is also to encounter some new characters. The novel was adapted into four manga series, of which the first one was about the original plot of the light novel, and rest three was just about the characters. The third season of will be aired on Studio Deen like the previous season.
