Labor Of Love: Has The Show Just Ruined Kristy’s Chances Of Finding The Perfect Man For Herself?

If you are looking for some crazy entertainment, Labor Of Love is a perfect choice! This is a dating game show which started airing on Fox on Thursdays at 9:00 pm ET from May 21, 2020. The show is hosted by Sex and the City actress Kristin Davis! The Bachelor Season 11’s contestant Kristy Katzmann stars in the show. Around 15 men participate in challenges and dates that test their parenting and personal skills. Katzmann will choose one of them to start a family at the end of the show with Davis’s help. ‘This groundbreaking series levels up dating to mating by taking viewers along on one woman’s unconventional journey toward potential love and motherhood’, according to IMDb.

The show has received some backlash on the Internet! Some critics described it as ‘bizarre’ and ‘dangerous in making a competition out of the creation of life.’

Labor Of Love Latest Episode: ’40-Year-Old Fathers’!

In the latest episode of the show, ‘40-Year-Old-Fathers‘, only six men were left. In the episode, we saw the men going through labor pains, house drama, and time to chat with Kristy. This episode also saw a hot-tempered wild card, Keith Reams. He revealed his ‘fire’ to Kristy and she ended up sending him home! But, it leaves us all wondering, has the show just ruined Kristy’s chances of finding the perfect man for herself?

Kristy and Keith had a chat as he was the only one with whom she hadn’t gone on a date. There, he revealed his ‘fire’ to her and created doubts about other men in Kristy’s head! Here’s what Keith said:

“If you have this concern with me, you’re gonna need to do the same sort of vetting with other people in the house. Gary and Stewart are the most genuine in terms of their intention toward you. Marcus the mastermind, Trent’s a bully, and Kyle really hasn’t revealed himself. That’s all I’m going to say about that.”  

This is what Kristy said about Keith’s claims:

“Keith kind of planted some seeds of doubt about a lot of these guys in my head. That might have been Keith’s temper taking over, but it is playing on a fear that I have of getting to the end of this and picking the wrong guy. It has me feeling very unsettled.”

Is There Truth To Keith’s Claims?

There is at least some truth to Keith’s claims. He did not say anything bad about Gary Malec and Stewart Gill. But when he said that Gary and Stewart had genuine intentions towards Kristy, he was pretty much saying the truth! In the previous episode, Stewart wanted Kristy to know about his hot temper. If Keith had known that, do you think he would have kept it to himself or brought it out?

What Keith said about the other guys, Trent Broach, Marcus Lehman, and Kyle Klinger was not all lies. There is at least some amount of truth in that. Trent does have a sharp sense of humour, Marcus is smart and Kyle is not the most visible man on the show! Did Keith say all those things for Kristy’s sake or just create some drama before he leaves? Kristy Is Feeling Unsettled!

Of course, she is feeling unsettled after Keith’s claims. I feel that reality is settling in only now for Kristy. She has to choose a man to be the father of her child on a reality show and she also doesn’t get much time to know the men well!

After this show, if Kristy does have a baby with the man she picks he will be there forever in her life. This is not The Bachelor where nothing much exists beyond the “After The Final Rose” Special. Labor Of Love is nothing like the Bachelor Nation!  What is going to happen with the doubts that Keith has planted in Kristy now? Moving forward, will she get to know the guys better and get rid of her doubts or will they continue to unsettle her?
