Labyrinth 2: Who could Potentially Replace David Bowie?

SatyarthEver since we have heard of a “Labyrinth” sequel is in the making with a new director (Doctor Strange’s Scott Derrickson), we can’t stop but think that who would/could replace the iconic characterization of Jareth the Goblin King created by the multi-faceted genius David Bowie.
Who would make a better president

Although there are many talented singers and actors in the entertainment industry, looking for an artist as talented as Bowie who could write his own songs, perform, sing and act is a difficult job. Rarely do we see such talent now, but there are personalities who could do the same or a better job. Here are some predictions-
Janelle Monae
Apart from being a fabulous singer, Monae also writes her songs and her onstage presence is eccentric, talking about her acting skills, she has acted in the most brilliant range of critically acclaimed cinema and shows like “Hidden Figures”, “Moonlight” and “Homecoming”, needless to say, she has a presence in both “The Oscars” and “Grammys”. She has even covered Bowie’s “Heroes”.
Jared Leto
Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto garnered critical acclaim for his performance as a coke addict transgender suffering from Aids in “Dallas Buyers Club”. He is also famous for his method acting, news surfaced that during the shoot of “Suicide Squad”, he would send his fellow actors- Rats, as a part of playing “The Joker”. Many of us don’t know this, but he has also been the frontman of the band “30 seconds to Mars” in the late 90s.
Lady Gaga
Oscar and grammy-winning singer and actress are famous for her eccentric costumes, several ranges of vocal tones, glitzy dance numbers, and energetic performances. She even garnered praise from across the world for her performance in the new rendition of “A Star Is Born” alongside Bradley Cooper.
Other actors like Neil-Patrick Harris and Paul Bettany also deserve our special mention. Earlier the news had also spread that Helena Bonham Carter could replace Jennifer Connelly’s character and this could create a plot where Jennifer Connelly herself becomes the villain of the movie. As a fan, I would love to Helena Bonham Carter in any role possible but it is the franchise’s and Derrickson’s choice and we would have to wait for more news.

I do not hate people, but I despise their existence. Hi, I’m an actor, writer, poet, visual artist, a man of science and also the least favourite person in my family. Our beloved Hemingway, once said "There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." I believed in this quote humbly, truly and faithfully, now I have Anemia. I hope you like my works and if you do then please tell the President about it (seriously, all we want is fame).
