Last Light is an upcoming thriller series based on the best-selling novel of Alex Scarrow that bears the same name. The show is a limited series starring Matthew Fox who is making a comeback after seven long years. Last Light reflects a story of holding on to a hope of light during the ultimate hours of darkness. Last Light: Plot and Cast
The plot of Last Light revolves around Andy Nielsen, a petro-chemist who is very certain of how much the world is dependent on oil. One day, if something happens to the earth’s supply of oil, it would, in no time, bring about a chain reaction. Transportation would go still, supplies will not be delivered, and needless to mention, law enforcement will be all the more overwhelmed. During his trip to the Middle East for business reasons, Andy comes to realize that his horror is around the corner and his family is fragmented during this alarming moment. Laura, his teenage daughter is on her own at his London home, while Elena, his wife is away in Paris with their son, Sam. Amidst the commotion, each member of Andy’s family will give it all to get in touch with one another, irrespective of the distance and dangers that obstruct them from getting together.

The cast also includes Aziz Gharbawi as Farooq, Hakeem Jomah as Baraa, Alex Montyro as Agent Sterns, Andrej Polák as Pesivic, Aneta Kernová as Robin, Anna Rust as Anna, Sinead Phelps as Jill, Jassem Mougari as Ben Salim, Michael Pitthan as Dr. Gawande, Roy McCrerey as Prime Minister, Jamie Marshall as Bill The Barman, Adam Vacula as Hassan, Jenn Kirk as Ellie, and Judith Georgi as Ms. Elliot.
Last Light: Release Date
Last Light releases on September 8, 2022, Thursday on Peacock. The show consists of five episodes, each of which has a run time of 45 minutes.
