Launchpad Season 1: Release Date, Trailer and Updates!

Launchpad is a series of live-action shorts developed for Disney+. The shorts are helmed by newcomer directors from minority backgrounds and all deal with various uplifting themes relating to family, culture, and experience.

What is the show about?

The shorts are directed by new and upcoming directors who were provided help and mentored by professional filmmakers from Disney+, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Mahin Ibrahim, Director of Disney’s Diversity & Inclusion, oversees the project. The first season consists of six shorts that revolve around the theme of “Discover”.
