LEO International Payment System has launched LEOGAMING esports team

Last week the LEO International Payment System announced that it founded its own LEOGAMING esports team playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It is worth noting that the team began to actively compete in the ESEA Advanced league and managed to achieve several victories in matches against teams from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia. The editorial staff at UA NEWS gathered all the available information about the team, players, plans for the future, and the specifics of the world of esports.

The company planned to launch an esports team for many years in a row. Keeping in mind many years of experience of the fintech brand in the field of payments for online games, they have been witnessing the growth of esports as an industry for years. The decision to create the team was made in September 2021, a year after the official recognition of esports in Ukraine.

“Brands have different approaches to integration with the esports industry. Some of them prefer to collaborate with teams, some of them became sponsors of tournaments, while others invest in the infrastructure of tournaments, both online and offline. We decided to create our own team as the most appropriate way to achieve the company’s brand awareness goals,” told a representative of the LEO International Payment System.

The ENTER ESPORT Company was chosen as the media partner. This company acts as an advertising agency and a link between brands and esports.

They also offered integration with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, instead of choosing Dota 2. It is worth noting that CS:GO is the field, where players from Ukraine excel the most. We would like to remind you that in November, the Natus Vincere team from Ukraine won the major tournament on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in Stockholm. They won the cash prize in the amount of $1 million.

LEOGAMING managed to create a multinational team with a Ukrainian captain. Here is the list of players:

The key goal of LEOGAMING in this season is to win the Advanced League and enter the ESEA Premier League. The teams that manage to take the first, the second, and the third places will not only share the opportunity to enter the Premier League, but also the prize pool of $20,000.

Previously, the LEOGAMING esports team held three successful performances in the ESEA Advanced league on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

It is worth noting that the players of the LeoGaming esports team performed in the final of the Ukrainian esports Championship.
