Let the Right One In: Release Date, Plot, Cast and more!

Adapted from John Ajvide’s best seller (2004) that goes by the same name, the upcoming vampire thriller series, titled Let the Right One In, is a work of Andre Hinderaker. He, along with being the creator and writer of the show, is also the executive producer of the series aside Seith Mann, who serves as the director of Let the Right One In. The series is also based on the 2008 Swedish movie that happens to be the first adaptation of Ajvide’s novel. Incorporating inspirations from both, the novel and the film, Let the Right One In series is set to bring to the audience the emotional journey of a father-daughter duo, a story of a father’s affection for her vampire daughter. Let the Right One In: Plot and Cast

The plot revolves around the lives of Mark and Eleanor, a father and his daughter, and their challenges to live in a normal society. Ten years ago, their lives took a massive and irreversible turn when Eleanor transformed into a vampire. Cut to the present times, Eleanor, a girl of age 12, is forced to remain indoors during the daytime and can only step out when the darkness prevails. Mark does all he possibly can to keep his daughter alive by arranging human blood for her. This and a ton of emotionally laden events along with a sharp portrayal of compassion, strength, and human frailty is what the story of Let the Right One In is about.
