The much anticipated third season of Locke and Key is finally here. The TV series Locke and Key is based on the graphic novel that goes by the same name and is created by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez. The upcoming season, i.e., season 3, is the last one of the series.

The fantasy horror drama revolves around Keyhouse, the family home of the Lockes. Following Rendell’s murder, his wife, Nina, with their three children, decides to relocate and thus arrives at their family home. Post arrival, the children discover a whole range of mysterious keys, each of which unlocks a different door following magical ways. Soon after, the mortal residents of Keyhouse sense the presence of a demonic entity who is in search of all those magical keys for some malevolent purposes. Following the on-the-edge action in season 2, the expectations from season 3 are naturally on the higher end. The third season involves all the more villains than the stirring up of chaos by Dodge. Eden’s part, post her return, might experience a change of sides, from that of the demons to the Locke family team. Tyler is keeping himself away as he is still struggling to process Jackie’s death which he feels is on him. Rumors are there that the chances of Tyler finding ways to bring Jackie back fl life are high. In all, as the Lockes possess the majority of the keys now, the events in this season are expected to escalate even more than in the previous two.

Locke and Key Season 3 premieres on August 10, 2022, Wednesday on Netflix. The final season of the series will wrap up the show in eight episodes.
