Locke & Key Season 3: Release Date, Cast and more!
Developed by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill and Aron Elo Coleite, Locke & Key is a fantasy horror drama series made for Netflix. It is based on the comic book series of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.
The first season of the series premiered on February 7, 2020 followed by the second season on October 22, 2021. It received generally positive reviews from critics, and currently holds an approval rating of 66% on Rotten Tomatoes. The makers have already renewed the series for a third season, which is also confirmed to be the final season.

Locke & Key Plot and Cast
In the second season of Locke & Key, Dodge was defeated but Frederick Gideon is just getting started. Eden summoned him and for a second, it seemed like she was going to rule the roost. However, the Captain hurled her into the depths of the well from which he came, before exiting through the portal to raise hell.
The makers stated that the third season will focus more on the family and they will come across the greatest threat they have ever faced yet. Overall, the new season will continue from where the second season ended.
Coming to the cast for Season 3, we should get to see the leads of the first two seasons reprising their roles. This includes Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, Petrice Jones and others. We can expect to see some new faces since it is a new season.
Locke & Key Season 3 Release Date
The second season of Locke & Key premiered in October 2021 and it was renewed for a third season before the premiere of Season 2. The makers have confirmed that the third season is scheduled to release sometime in 2022.
The upcoming season might consist of ten episodes like the first two seasons, although an official confirmation is awaited. The show is produced by Genre Arts, Hard A Productions, Circle of Confusion and IDW Entertainment.
