Log Horizon Season 3: All that you need to know about this anime show

Log Horizon since its release in 2013 has occupied a special corner in the hearts of anime fans. The series is an adaptation of a Japanese novel series of the same name created by Mamare Touno. The show falls into several genres like action, adventure, science fiction, and comedy.

The show took off with thirty thousand Japanese gamers and hundreds of thousands of players from worldwide are trapped inside an online fantasy game known as ‘Elder Tale’. For the players, this magical world has become their reality. Shiroe, the lead character of the show unites with an old companion of his and Akatsuki, an assassin. Together the trio tries to thrive and make a way out to survive in the new world of Log Horizon.

Release Dates of Log Horizon

The first season was produced by Satelite Studios premiered on NHK Educational TV in October 2013. Exactly a year later its second season rolled out in 2014. After a six-year gap the series is returning for its third installment in October 2020. Studio DEEN took over the production Season 2 onwards. Both the first and second seasons consisted of 25 episodes each whereas the 3^rd season will contain only 12 episodes.

Log Horizon Season 3 Cast

The major cast of the show from the previous seasons will be seen again. Takuma Terashima will return as Shiroe, Emiri Katou as Akatsuki, Tomoaki Maeno as Naotsugu, Jouji Nakata as Nyanta and Takahiro Sakurai as Krusty. A few new characters are expected to enter the show.

Log Horizon Season 3 Plot

The third season is titled ‘Fall of the Round Table’. The twelfth novel from the book series also bears the same name. This makes it obvious that season 3 will be based on the 12^th part of the novel series. Fans are expecting bigger, better and more intense action in the third season!
