Looks like COVID-19 won’t stop Vanilla Ice from planning the concert on 4th July!

Vanilla Ice is best known for his song Ice Ice Baby. He is currently planning for a live concert on the 4th of July. Looks like the pandemic might not stop the American rapper from planning it.

The 12th favorite one-hit-wonder rapper, Vanilla Ice is going to host a concert on the 4th of July. The venue is deep in the heart of Texas, which recently hit 8076 new coronavirus cases. The rapper is clearly someone who insists on living in the past.  It can be justified from what the singer said on Instagram. He posted “I can’t wait to get back to this. the ’90s were the best. He further stated “We did not have coronavirus or cell phones or computers. We had 5.0’s, blockbuster, Beaves and Butthead, Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan.. the last of the great decades.”

I’m sure all of you must be wondering how is the singer planning to host a concert amidst the pandemic. The witty singer found a loophole in the law to make it all work. Vanilla Ice is going to host the concert at a restaurant, to be specific at the Emerald Point Bar and grill. It is located on the shores of Lake Travis. So basically the restaurant not being a bar or a concert venue is not subjected to the same laws. Hence, it is possible to hold a concert and not break the laws at the same time. The restaurant does have a large area for hosting huge events like concerts. It has been said that nearly 2500 tickets have been sold so far which is half the number of total seats available.

Considering the fact that earlier a lot of such crowd gatherings have caused the coronavirus to spread further and faster, fans seem to be a bit worried too. Some of them even trolled the singer for making such a decision. We don’t know if that’s called being foolish or being brave to think of hosting concerts at this moment.
