LOONEY TUNES CARTOONS SEASON 1:

Developed by Peter Browngardt and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, based on the characters from Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, “Looney Tunes Cartoons” is an American animated streaming television series that made its worldwide debut at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on June 10, 2019, and premiered on May 27, 2020.

The third set with 10 episodes of the franchise premiered on Thursday, April 29, 2021, on HBO Max.

A reboot of the Looney Tunes, which consists of 1000 minutes spread across 1-6 minute shorts featuring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester Pussycat, Elmer Fudd, and the brand’s other marquee characters played by a proficient voice cast in visually vibrant misadventures all driven by simple gags.

In this newest batch of cartoons, Bugs’ relaxing afternoon is interrupted by a hungry Puma looking for a “hare-y” snack; Daffy meets his match with an office photocopier; helps Porky find his keys, and offers legal advice to Elmer Fudd. Taz, Tweety, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian, Wile E. Coyote, and Road Runner also star.

For over six decades, the manic and hilarious world of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and Tweety Bird dominated Saturday morning cartoons. The five-time Oscar-winning Looney Tunes cartoon shorts first began airing theatrically in the 1930s, and quickly became one of the most popular animated staples for slapstick humor, back when going to the picture show meant a newsreel, a cartoon, and sometimes two feature films.
