Lost in Space Season 3: Release Date, Trailer, Plot and Updates!

Lost in Space is an American Sci-fi TV series which premiered on Netflix in 2018. This series is based on the 1965 series which is also named Lost in Space. The 1965 series was in turn based on the 1812 novel The Swiss Family Robinson. Created by Irwin Allen, this sci-fi has two packed in a single box – Adventure and family, which made it quite popular around the globe.

The series consists of two seasons. The first season came was released by Netflix on 13th of April 2018. It was immediately renewed for a second season the next month. The second season was released on 24th of December 2019. The good news is, Netflix has renewed for this show for a 3rd season.

Trailer and release date of the show:

Netflix has not yet confirmed the release of Lost in Space season 3. But one thing that we are sure of is that it is set to be premiered in 2021. Given the global situation, the delay in production has resulted in the rescheduling of several series. We do not have an official trailer by Netflix yet, just a 15 seconds trailer released on the twitter handle of the show.

What is the storyline of Season 3?

Let us get a recap of the first two seasons:

“In the aftermath of an impact event that threatens the survival of humanity, the Robinson family is selected for the 24th mission of the Resolute (24th Colonist Group), an interstellar spacecraft carrying selected families to colonize the Alpha Centauri star system.

Before they reach their destination, an alien robot breaches the Resolute’s hull. Forced to evacuate the mothership in short-range Jupiter spacecraft, scores of colonists, among them the Robinsons, crash on a nearby habitable planet. Season 3 is going to be the final season of the show. Not much is known about the plot of the third season. We need to wait for Netflix to drop the trailer before we make speculations.
