Lost Speedways is a television documentary series. Peacock produced the series. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the host. He travels to abandoned racetracks across the United States. Eight episodes were produced as part of the first season and released on 15 July 2020.

Created and hosted by Dale Earnhardt Jr., this series is an exploratory look at great racing cathedrals of the past. Dale Jr. and co-host Matthew Dillner tell the stories of speedways that have been forgotten, abandoned, and overtaken by nature. Racing legends join as guests throughout the series.

Matthew Dillner created Lost Speedways in an attempt to raise awareness to the Epidemic of Race Tracks shutting down across America and worldwide.

Peacock has not yet confirmed the renewal of Lost Speedways Season 2. Stay tuned for the latest updates!

Lost Speedways Season 2 Release Date

There is no official notice about renewing the series yet. Due to the pandemic, the sequel of Lost Speedways might delay or even cancel. If the series gets renewed by the end of this year, we might see Lost Speedways Season 2 in late 2021.

If the series renews by the end of this year, we might see the official trailer anytime next year. Until then, if you haven’t watched Season 1 yet, go for it!
