Hello, Readers! As Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta Season 10 premieres in July, the VH1 reality show is introducing some interesting new people and locations, as well as demonstrating a stronger dedication to the Black Lives Matter movement.
The hip-hop docuseries follows musicians, entrepreneurs, and influencers on their personal journeys. Season 10 features a female-led ensemble balancing their careers, families, mental health, and Black emancipation in the midst of national reckoning and epidemic.
Mona Scott-Young and Stephanie R. Gayle of Monami Productions and Lashan Browning, Donna Edge-Rachell, Paris Bauldwin, Daniel Wiener, and Jamail Shelton of New Group Productions are executive producers of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta Season 10. VH1’s executive producers are Sitarah Pendelton and Phakiso Collins.

Season 10 premieres on VH1 on Monday, July 5, 2021, at 8 p.m. PT/ET. Previous seasons have usually had 17 to 20 episodes.

What is this about?
The everyday lives of women and men in hip hop’s “dirty south” are the focus of this show. The first two seasons focus on the personal and professional problems of six women, two of whom are famous R&B and rappers’ girlfriends and the other four of whom are budding recording artists.

DJs and radio personalities, stylists, video vixens, glamour models, groupies, and socialites all appeared in subsequent seasons. The show boasts a large supporting cast, largely made up of males in the profession, who get the same amount of screen time and storyline focus as the main characters.

When the VH1 docusoap returns on July 5, Yung Baby Tate, a Radio vocalist and overnight sensation; Renni Rucci, a dynamic rapper signed to Lil Baby’s label Wolfpack; and Omeretta The Great, an emerging artist catching the attention of heavy hitters like Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby, will be among the guests. Yandy Smith-Harris and Mendeecees Harris, who recently migrated to Atlanta, are also joining the cast.
