“LoVe iSbLiNd” cries the man who got rejected when he wore his Batman mask on the FIRST DATE (haha, What? No, that can’t possibly be me, lol). Tinder in real life is what basically Netflix’s new show “Love is Blind” has for you. “Love is blind” follows couples who try to bond with each other without seeing each other’s faces, the tough task begins when they have to decide whether to propose or not after seeing their partner’s faces for the first time while bonding for so long (Daunting, right?). The first season became an instant hit as it gave entertainment yet questioned the liberal mindset and hypocrisy of people who say “Love is Blind”. The fans are now expecting season 2 desperately.
What are the Dates for Season 2?
Netflix on March 24, 2020, renewed the series for two more seasons. This was because the show was Netflix’s number-one trending show during the finale week, Netflix announced that over 30 million households have watched the series. However, due to the pandemic, the shoot hasn’t begun yet and Netflix has not announced any date for the next season.
“Love is Blind”, what is it about?
Created by Chris Coelen and produced by Kinetic Content, the show follows about 30 participants, who want to find love in real life, but act as contestants.
“They reached out to people who they felt would be genuinely interested in this kind of commitment. We want people who aren’t just doing it for the attention.”- said Coelen while talking to Entertainment weekly.
The contestants then date each other in separate “pods” without seeing each other’s faces, the Man is then asked to propose for marriage, after the proposal, the couple is allowed to see each other’s faces, the couple then decides whether or not to marry, if yes, then the couple is sent to a holiday, spending time with each other before marriage.
“It’s been incredible to see Netflix members everywhere respond to the raw, authentic stories of real people and real stakes.”- said Brandon Reigg, Vice-President, Netflix non-fiction department.
I do not hate people, but I despise their existence. Hi, I’m an actor, writer, poet, visual artist, a man of science and also the least favourite person in my family. Our beloved Hemingway, once said "There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." I believed in this quote humbly, truly and faithfully, now I have Anemia. I hope you like my works and if you do then please tell the President about it (seriously, all we want is fame).
