Love Is Blind Season 2: Release Date, Trailer and More!
Published
4 years agoon
The TV dating reality show ‘Love Is Blind’ got a good reception for its first season. The show is now ready for its next season’s release on Netflix. It premiered on Netflix as a three-week event on the 13th of February, 2020, and welcomed around 30 million fans for the show. Produced by Kinetic Content and created by Chris Coelen, Love Is Blind has been receiving a 74% upvote by Rotten Tomatoes with a 5.75/10 rating. It is definitely a binge-watch worth one but personally speaking, the romance can be a little more hanker than toxic.
Netflix announced the release of the 2nd season on the 24th of March 2020 but due to the unescapable pandemic in the name of Covid-19, the release has been postponed. Hence, there might be a delay in the streaming of the episodes of the subsequent seasons. The show can be expected either late this year (2020) or early next year (2021). But due to the pandemic, the viewership is reported to have an exponential increase on Netflix. Though the consecutive season’s release might take time, the first season’s release turned out to be a boon for Netflix.
The Plot of the Show
The second season of ‘Love Is Blind’ will begin with a date where both the parties will communicate in ‘pods’, i.e. only the voice of one another will be heard but they will not be able to see each other. This will complicate things as well. If it’s a yes, the pair will go for an excursion to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. By this time, they will get well acquainted with one another. Again, if both parties are satisfied, they will go to Atlanta to convince their parents. This will be followed by the girl experiencing life, living in her spouse’s place. The pair will then have to decide whether they are ready to get hitched or not. They will then answer the question, ‘Is love blind?’ and the series will drag its end.
Other details and experiences:
Only the cast makes any reality show a mark on the grade. So, the cast will be known only when the show begins. But the details and vibe of the show will remain unchanged. A reunion of the first episode participants streamed on YouTube and Netflix. There, the cast expressed their journey in the show and how they felt during the experiment of finding their better halves. It had a mix where few participants got hitched, a few remained single and the others still dating. The cast, post-show, got a huge fan following and the married ones also upload pictures and videos with their spouses and type out captions about the show and the experience of their experiments. Also, ‘Love Is Blind’ is hosted by Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey.
This show is a blend of vulnerability and romance. There is both happiness and sadness in the show. Of course, every show will have its own ups and downs but this way of dating is both interesting and trust-worthy, I did say. So, all set to wait for the next season of ‘Love Is Blind’?
