Love Island is a dating reality show and it is based on the British series of the same name. The series was announced on 8th August 2018 by CBS and premiered on 9th July 2019 on CBS. The show was renewed on 1st August 2019 and was planned to be premiered on 21st May 2020 but the production was postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The second season was then moved to The Cromwell Las Vegas with proper quarantine measures and premiered on 24th August 2020.

The show involves around a group of contestants, also known as Islanders living in isolation at a villa in Fiji under constant video surveillance. For surviving in the villa, each one of them must be coupled with another islander and the winning couple receives $100,000. The first season had 22 episodes and the second season had 34 episodes. The first season was won by Zac Mirabelli and Elizabeth Weber and the second season was won by Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew.

Release Date of Love Island Season 3

Love Island was renewed for a third season in 27th January 2021 and it will be filmed in Hawaii because the situation of pandemic is a little bit under control in this place and Hawaii has suffered a huge economic crisis because of collapse in tourism as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Season 2 was able to attract more audience in comparison to Season 1 and so, people have high expectations from Season 3. The release date of Love Island Season 3 has not been announced yet but it will premiere sometime in 2021.

There have been no news regarding the cast of Love Island Season 3 and nothing has been confirmed or revealed yet by the makers. For now, only one thing is known that Arielle Vanderberg will return as the host of Season 3 and she has been the host in the last two seasons as well.
