Love It or List It is a Canadian-American home design TV show that premieres on HGTV and is a part of the franchise of TV shows created by Maria Armstrong and Catherine Fogarty. The show first premiered in September 2008 on W Network and since has a regular fan following by dedicated viewers looking to beautify their own homes. Love It or List It: Plot

Each episode of Love It or List It starts with a couple struggling to decide whether they want to still stay in their current home or not, whether they want to renovate or sell. A reality TV show, it showcases the struggles homeowners usually face with their current lodgings and present their house to the viewers. Hilary Farr, the show’s interior designer, and David Visentin, the real estate agent in the show, take a tour of the houses belonging to the couples.

Hilary Farr tries to take a more positive perspective with the homeowners by showing them how they can ramp up the look and feel of their house while David Visentin brings a more realistic perspective by presenting the value of their house on the real estate market as well as finding them a new house suited to their budget. Sometimes, Hilary manages to receive an adequate budget to complete the renovation of the house according to the couple’s desires, but it can prove to be a common struggle for her. In the end, the couple must choose to either “Love It” with Hilary’s renovations or “List It” according to David’s recommendations.

While the first two episodes of Love It or List It are listed on the HGTV website, it is currently hard to tell when we can expect the two episodes and others to be released. So far, Big Coat Productions has released 15 complete seasons, and we look forward to a lot more.
