After Too Hot to Handle and Love is Blind, Netflix has come out with another love reality show, only this time, it’s different than the other two, and actually a pleasure to watch. Love on the Spectrum is about various people on the autism spectrum, trying to find love in their life, and it is a simple, beautiful show about love.

Love On The Spectrum offers a glimpse into how exciting, nerve-wracking, and rewarding dating can be when you have autism.

What is the show about?

Love on the Spectrum offers a glimpse into dating for people who are on the autism spectrum, and how they go about their romantic lives. After Too Hot to Handle and Love is Blind landed on Netflix, there weren’t many expectations from Netflix’s third attempt to woo its gigantic number of viewers. Combined with the fact that it was a show about people with autism trying to find love, things could have very easily gone horribly wrong for Netflix.

But that was not the case to be. Love on the Spectrum turned out to be an absolute pleasure to watch and transcends all genres of TV. This show does not have any predetermined rules, it does not have any reward for winning a competition, it is simply a show based on people trying to find love. As Netflix’s Twitter account mentioned, “We can all agree that wanting to find love is a universal feeling.”

As more and more people discover this amazing show, fan-favorite characters have started to emerge, and Michael seems to be leading this race, with his ‘love ducks’ and charming antics winning all over the Internet. Michael is a hopeless romantic and an aspiring husband and it is really refreshing to watch such a fun, light-hearted show after all the drama that has previously unfolded in other love reality shows on Netflix.
