Gameplay
The main motive of the game is to sink other players’ ships, take their loot, and collect. Maps are available along with floating treasure chests and ships. At the end of the game, we can upgrade the ship. All gameplay and progress come along with the game purchase. No additional purchases are required. There is no way to purchase a competitive advantage in the game. Gold is the in-game currency and you can earn it by playing the game. Cannons are the main weapon in combat. Cannonballs have a significant firing arc and hang time. To deal with more damage prediction and aim both are necessary. Players with quick reflex and anticipation can dodge incoming fire.
New PvE Mode
A new mode is now available in the game. It is a PvE ‘Players vs Environment’ mode. It is known as Gauntlet mode. The mode ends with a final boss battle. Each challenge has new captains face off against the threats. Now the players can upgrade captains along with the ships. This will add flexibility and power. Eventually, you can get an advantage in the battle. An adventure store is available between encounters to allow per run upgrades. There are five levels of difficulties. The levels are Grifter, Lurker, Thrasher, Leviathan, and Abyssal. There’s also going to be a new upgrade system that will give the players more tactical choices in the game.
