Mafia Trilogy – Release Date, Teaser and Details

Mafia is a franchise of open-world action games created by 2K Czech with the third edition with Hangar 13 and distributed by 2K Games. Definitive Editions is part of the recently revealed Mafia Series, a bundle that incorporates all current franchise titles into one concise set.

2K Games announced a reboot of the Mafia on May 13, 2020. The reboot will be named Mafia: Definitive Edition and will act as one part of the Mafia: Trilogy. It is being published by Hangar 13 and will feature an “expanded plot, gameplay, and musical screenplay.”

Supporters of the Mafia series would get some free quality content of Definitive Version updates for Mafia II and Mafia III. If one wants to buy Mafia II on Steam, they can update the 10-year-old game to enjoy a high definition adventure. Mafia III installation is available on all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC) and allows access to every post-launch DLCs.

Release Date

Mafia Trilogy Edition will be released in full on August 28. It is currently only scheduled for release in selected EMEA and Asia regions. Mafia II: Definitive Edition is out now! May 19th.

Mafia III, of course, is still accessible on current-gen consoles but is having a Definitive Version re-release that allows the DLC free.

If someone is new to the Mafia series, the Mafia trialogue makes the most sense. The user is going to get all three titles and pre-order incentives. Mafia: Trilogy’s PC version isn’t active yet, but one can buy PS4 and Xbox One versions now. In addition to Steam, Mafia: the trialogue will finally arrive at the Epic Games Store.

If one doesn’t have the games, they can buy their Definitive Editions for $30 each. Mafia III has not had any remaster-level hardware updates, but Mafia II has received “greatly upgraded graphics and audio.”

If someone chooses not to buy games, they may shell out $60 for the entire Series, which is quite a discount. Instead, if anyone is involved in the revised edition of Mafia I, they should pre-order it until the launch date of August 28, 2020.
