Phase Four of Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU) is a group of superhero films and TV series produced by Marvel Studios. Phase four features all the films to be released from 2020 to 2022.
However, due to the Covid-19 lockdown, the release dates of the movies have been delayed.
Here is the list of the movies which are to be released:
Black widow(November 6, 2020):
Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow portrayed by Scarlet Johansson confronts the darker parts when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the relationships she left behind when she became an avenger.
The Eternals(February 12, 2021):
The Eternals features an exciting new team of superheroes in the MCU, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. It features Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Kit Harrington.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings(May 7, 2021):
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is an upcoming superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. It is the twenty-sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the third film of Phase Four.
Spider-Man: Far From Home Sequel(November 5, 2021):
Tom Holland and Zendaya have confirmed to return for the sequel of the movie. The filming of this movie is set to take place in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, and Iceland.
Thor: Love and Thunder(February 11, 2022):
In 2018, Chris Hemsworth stated his interest in continuing to play Thor despite his contract with Marvel Studios to end after Avengers: Endgame. The filming was set to start in August 2020, let’s see what the filmmakers have in now due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness(March 25, 2022):
Doctor Strange is now looking to almost a whole year after it’s originally planned release. This delay could be beneficial for the film. It has also gone through a different change by replacing its original director with Sam Raimi. This film will star Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Cumberbatch, and others.
