Created by Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland, Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is an upcoming animated television series made for Disney Channel. Fishburne and Sugland are also the executive producers alongside Steve Loter.
Development of the show was reported in February 2018 and Fishburne and Sugland were set to become the executive producers. Fishburne also revealed that this is the first time when Disney and Marvel would work together in one animated series.

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Plot and Cast
The makers have not revealed much about the plot of Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. However, it will follow the adventures of a 13-year-old Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rez, Devil Dinosaur. When Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City through a time vortex, the duo work together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger.
Coming to the cast, the makers have confirmed that Diamond White, Fred Tatasciore, Alfre Woodard, Sasheer Zamata, Jermaine Fowler, Gary Anthony Williams and Libe Barer would play the lead roles. Laurence Fishburne will also play a recurring role as The Beyonder. Further details are expected to be revealed soon.
Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Release Date
Most of the series scheduled to release in 2020 were delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic and Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur fell into the same category. The series had to be produced remotely when Disney Television Animation Studios were closed in 2020 because of the pandemic.
The series is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2022, although an official release date is yet to be disclosed. The show is produced by Pylar Flynn, Disney Television Animation, Marvel Animation and Cinema Gypsy Productions.
