Marvel Cinematic Universe has announced the postponement of Phase 4 release dates because of the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19. This postponement includes Spider-Man part 3 which got delayed by four months to November 2021. Spider-Man is one of the oldest and most beloved comic characters, created by Stan Lee.
In the summer of 2019, Marvel Studios, and the parent company Disney and Sony during the Comic-Con at San Diego were not sure about the release of the third part of Spider-Man. However, soon after that they came to an agreement to keep Spider-Man in MCU and decided the summer release date of Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel. The release date didn’t change for a while like all the MCU movies schedule, but Sony decided to push it back. Now, the official release date of Spider-Man 3 is November 5, 2021, moving back four months from its original release date which was July 16, 2021. Tom Holland will reprise his role as Spider-Man and has only two more movies under MCU which is a part of Sony and Disney agreement which happened in the summer of 2019.
Sony Pictures announced more changes about the schedule of MCU Phase 4 movies which includes delaying Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to 2022, Morbius and Venom 2 got delayed as well as there are no official dates. Marvel moved Thor: Love and Thunder to be released in early 2021.
It seems like fans have to wait a little longer to watch their favorite MCU movies, and we can only hope for us to overcome the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19 as soon as possible. Well, the good news is that they have the official date of Spider-Man 3 arrival which is November 5, 2021, mark the date!
