Mike: Release Date, Plot, Cast and more!

Mike, as you might have already guessed, is a series based on Mike Tyson, the former professional boxer of American origin. The present buzz highlights that the upcoming web series is depicting a story that has been “stolen” from the boxer’s life as he has not been paid for the project. The streamer too revealed that the show is an unauthorized series and described it as a “no-holds-barred” look at Mike Tyson’s life. Mike: Plot and Cast

The series revolves around the life of Mike Tyson and his inspiring journey towards fame and success. Mike was born with nothing but he eventually, with his hard work and determination, made his way into the world of boxing and became a well-known face quite fast and early in his career. Having said that, his sudden leap to fame had some serious consequences. Mike fell into quite a lot of controversies involving legal, financial, and personal matters over the years. However, these setbacks did not bog him down as he prospered into a better man by learning from his experiences. Such is the story of the great Tyson upon which the plot of Mike is based.

The cast of Mike comprises Kerry Sims as Tyson entourage, Trevante Rhodes as Mike Tyson, Scott Mac Donald as Tyson’s Trainer, Harvey Keitel as Cus D’Amato, Kale Browne as Bill Cayton, Russell Hornsby as Don King, B.J. Minor as Teen Mike, Ethan Dubin as Teddy Atlas, Li Eubanks as Desiree Washington, Kenneth Trujillo as Cut Man, Greg Kaston as Rev. Jesse Jackson, Jackie Sanders as Barbara Walters, and Lawrence J. Hughes as Crocodile. The show also casts Laura Harrier as Robin Givens, Grace Zabriskie as Camille D’Amato, Olunike Adeliyi as Lorna Mae, T.J. Atoms as Barkim, Ethan Barrett as Young Mike, Terrin Hill as Frank Bruno, Chédra Arielle as Denise Tyson, Bennett Saltzman as Cracked Teeth, Summer Madison and Kycia Johnson, and Patricia Bethune as Marilyn Murray.

Mike: Release Date

Mike releases on August 25, 2022, on Hulu. The limited series comprises eight episodes, six of which will be launched on the day of release.
