Minx Season 1: Release Date, Plot and other details!

Streaming service HBO Max is bringing a new American comedy series called Minx. Created by Desperados Ellen Rapoport, Minx is scheduled to release soon on the OTT platform.

Paul Feig, Dan and Magnante, Ellen Rapoport are the executive producers and the show is being distributed by Lionsgate Television.

Minx: Plot and Cast

Set in 1970s Los Angeles, Minx, written by Rapoport, centers around an earnest young feminist  who joins forces with a low-rent publisher  to create the first erotic magazine for women.

While she pursues her career, she also finds a business partner and a low rent publisher Doug. They team up to create the magazine.

The main cast of the series includes Ophelia Lovibond as Joyce, Jake Johnson as Doug, Taylor Zakhar Perez as Shane, Idara Victor as Tina Oscar Montoya as Richie Jessica Lowe as Bambi Lennon Parham as Shelly Michael Angarano as Glenn.

Minx Season 1 Release Date

The makers of the show officially announced that Minx will be released on March 17, 2022. However, the number of episodes and the runtime has not been revealed yet. It is also not disclosed if all the episodes will be released together.

Minx will be available for streaming on HBO Max. Since 2021, HBO and HBO Max have around 69.4 million paying subscribers including 43.5 million in U.S. and 20.5 million in other countries.

Those who want to watch the series can purchase an HBO Max subscription. HBO Max offers two tiers, one without ads for $14.99 per months and one with ads for $9.99 per month.
