The series is made on Amer’s own life as a Palestinian refugee living in Houston, Texas. The basic premise of the show focuses on a man named Mohammed Najjar who is also the protagonist of the show. The series shows how Mohammad lives in Houston, Texas, and currently seeking asylum and citizenship in the United States.
