Modern Love for Season 2: Release Date, Trailer and Trivia!

Amazon Prime Video announced that it will be renewing Modern Love for a season 2! The show which is an Amazon Prime original released its first season in October 2019. Modern Love is based on the stories of real people and has certain fictionalized elements to it. It is inspired by the column called Modern Love from the New York Times newspaper.

The shows first season had 8 episodes which depicted the stories of 8 different couples. Every episode gave an insight into the struggles they had to face and the high and the lows love brings. Every episode had a different problem related to love which a couple was trying to solve.

There was heartbreak, crushes, estrangement, sense of lunacy that love brought. The episodes showed that love essentially brings with itself a lot of emotional baggage and requires commitment and investment. However, love also brings with it this feeling of pure ecstasy and joy.

Everything that touches love has to face the consequences of being in love. The show loves beautiful depicts the lives of these people, how someone’s mentality is affected and their emotional stability is affected when n they are in love. Along with this the attitude they have towards love and their ideologies are also shown.

The cast for season one included some of the biggest stars of the entertainment industry. Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, John Slattery, Brandon Victor Dixon, Catherine Keener, Julia Garner, Andy García, Cristin Milioti, Olivia Cooke, Andrew Scott, Shea Whigham, Gary Carr, Sofia Boutella, and John Gallagher Jr. were the cast for the first season.

The release date for season 2 has not been confirmed yet. However, we will update you as soon as possible once it is confirmed. The cast for season 2 will include some of the famous actors in the entertainment industry! The creator of the show, John Carney, was super thrilled to share the news of season 2 of the show. Season 2 won’t be released before 2021 considering the Covid-19 pandemic.
