Monarch is an upcoming musical drama series that revolves around the Romans, an American country music family. Created by Melissa London Hilfers, the American TV series owns its executive production credits to Hilfers, Jon Feldman, Hend Baghdady, Gail Berman, Jason Ensler, and Jason Owen. Monarch: Plot and Cast

The plot involves a legendary, multi-generational musical drama that follows the lives of America’s first dynasty of country music. The Romans, as the family name holds, are a hugely talented and passionate bunch of people who, although bear a name that denotes honesty, have built their pillar of success based on a lie. When some buried truths come to the surface, the reign of the Romans as country royalty is threatened. Nicky Roman, the upcoming legacy bearer and the present heir to the crown is not willing to stop at any cost and will give it all to protect the name and fame of her family. As her turn to uphold the legacy has finally arrived, will she be able to stand upon the expectations, or is it too late?

The cast of Monarch includes Trace Adkins as Albie Roman, Beth Ditto as Gigi Taylor-Roman, Anna Friel as Nicolette Roman, Martha Higareda as Catt Phoenix, Emma Milani as Ana Phoenix, Iñigo Pascual as Ace Grayson, Susan Sarandon as Dottie Cantrell Roman, and Joshua Sasse as Luke Roman. The cast also includes Eva Amurri as Dottie Cantrell Roman, Adam Croasdell as Clive Grayson, Meagan Holder as Kayla Taylor-Roman, Derrick Lemmon as CMA Elite, Faith Prince as Nellie Cantrell, Callum Kerr as Wade Stellings, and Kevin Cahoon as Earl Clark.

Monarch: Release Date

Monarch releases on September 11, 2022, Sunday, on Fox. From September 20, 2022, the series will follow a new schedule with the upcoming episodes being launched on Tuesday nights, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
