Money Heist has been the talk of the town for a while now. This is not the first heist fantasy but its nothing like any other either. Money Heist is nothing that’s been shown before. From nail-biting, thrill-packed action to edge to heartwarming romance and that too found in hopeless places. Fans have lived the lives of the Money Heist characters as they saw it. Apart from the robberies, the police chase, there bloomed a love story between two exactly opposite personalities – Tokyo (played by Úrsula Corberó) and Rio (Miguel Herrán)
Intertwining Sagas
One of the highlights of the show has been the ecstatic love sagas. Money Heist has a lot of romance that doesn’t belong there but just fits, for instance, Rio gave an engagement badge to Tokyo as a beautiful expression of love and the best part being, it was done a day before a major robbery. Right when Tokyo was taking a heel of tun from the relationship, Rio got hurt driving her crazy into realizing how much Rio means to her.
The Fall
Fans went through a heartbreaking separation of one of the most volatile relationships on screen with Tokyo and Rio parting ways in season three finale of Money Heist. The third season took a dip in the love line because of the distance and Tokyo’s engagement in the new heist plot. The distance seemed to widen as the spark between them diminished eventually resulting in them parting their ways. Gone, gone for good. Finally, came the revelation(about Tokyo’s relation with Denver) that changed their relationship together which, to some, seemed blown out of proportion. With tears and with joy, this twisted relationship has survived and kept the fans hopeful for more of it in the seasons to come.
