Created by Bobs Gannaway, Monsters at Work is an American computer-animated streaming television series. Bobs Gannawayhas served as executive producer for the first season and Kevin Deters will take the place of executive producer for the second season.

The first season of the show debuted on Disney+ on July 7, 2021. It is part of the Monsters, Inc. media franchise. The series was renewed for a second season and will be aired in 2023.

So, when is the upcoming season releasing? What is the plot? Who will come back to reprise their roles? Continue reading to know further details.

Monsters at Work Plot and Cast

Mindy Kaling

As for what the second season will be about, it will likely continue the stories of Mike, Sulley, and Tylor as they navigate the Monsters Incorporated laugh power transition. After their company faced closure at the end of the first season, Tylor was finally promoted to the position of a jokester, while Mike and Sulley proved the power of laugh energy to their naysayers and saved the company.

And at the very end of the season, the show caught up to the epilogue to the original movie and showed an alternate view of what happened on the floor, revealing Tylor’s new partner and revealing his new laugh assistant. This could lay the groundwork for some interesting scenarios, but we’ll have to see what those are when the second season of “Monsters at Work” hits Disney+ in 2023.

The main voice cast includes Billy Crystal and John Goodman. The other voice cast who gave their voices are Ben Feldman to Tylor Tuskmon, Mindy Kaling to Val Little, Henry Winkler to Fritz, Lucas Neff to Duncan P. Anderson, Alanna Ubach Katherine Sterna, Bonnie Hunt to Ms.Flint, John Ratzenberger to Yeti and Bernard Tuskmon and Aisha Tyler to Millie Tuskmon are more probable to return. Moreover, a few of the latest voice producers may unite the blend for the latest season.

Monsters at Work Season 2 Release Date

BEN FELDMAN

The show debuted on July 7, 2021, and the second season is going to be premiering in 2023. when in 2023 the second season of “Monsters at Work” will premiere is still currently unknown. However, this release date is not surprising given that the show is completely computer-animated.

Disney Television Animation and the artists behind bringing the show to life are juggling many different projects across Disney+, Disney Channel, and Disney Junior. The episode numbers and other information are still unrevealed since the show is still under production. Let’s wait and see if something new comes up in the upcoming days.
