Moon Knight: Release Date, Plot And Everything Else You Need To Know!

For all the Marvel fans out there, another new series is being added to the list of MCU TV series! Another character is getting an entire series for himself! Moon Knight is coming soon on Disney+. He is getting his live-action series soon. IGN listed Moon Knight as the 89th- greatest comic book character and also added that he is derived from Batman. They stated, “if Batman were to suffer from multiple personality disorder, then the character that would develop would be Moon Knight”.

Is There Any Release Date For The Series?

The series was announced in November 2019, at the D23 Expo by Kevin Feige. No specific release dates have been announced yet. There are already many other shows lined up to release on Disney+. So, the series is likely to come out in 2022 or latter part of 2021. Other shows like Hawkeye, Loki are expected to release before Moon Knight.

Who Is Going To Be Moon Knight?

There are speculations that actors Daniel Radcliffe, Zac Effron or Keanu Reeves might be cast in the lead role. But there is no official information on this. Sources also said that there might be certain drawbacks in the casting of Keanu Reeves. Until we get any confirmed information on the above, we can continue speculating!

What Is The Storyline Of The Series?

The series is the story of Marc Spector who later turns into the titular character. Marc Spector was a heavyweight boxer before becoming a US Marine. Later on, he leaves the Marines and works for the CIA occasionally. While Spector is working for the African mercenary, Raoul Bushman in Egypt, his group comes across an archaeological dig. The dig leads to the discovery of an ancient temple where they also find a statue of the Egyptian Moon God, Khonshu. Then, Spector and Bushman get into a combat and Marc is left to die by Bushman.

Spector’s heart then stops but Khonshu appears in his vision and gives him a second chance. Spector then creates a silver cloaked costume, based on the silver shroud and he becomes ‘Moon Knight’, ‘The Fist Of Khonshu’.
