Moto E6s launched in India at Rs 7,999, Motorola Smart TV starts at Rs 13,999



After a week of teasers, Motorola has finally unveiled their latest budget offering- the Moto E6s. The smartphone is basically a rebranded version of the Moto E6 Plus. Not just that, the Lenovo owned company also released the Motorola Smart TV. With this new TV, the company makes its first entry into the smart TV game.

Moto E6s Specifications and Features

The Moto E6s features a 6.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. The aspect ratio here is 19.5:9 and is almost bezel-less with 80% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to the waterdrop notch.

The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor. PowerVR GE8320 handles the gaming duties here. The MediaTek Helio P22 can perform any tasks you throw at it and manages to deliver some good frame rates while gaming. The phone is made available in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.

As for the optics, the device comes with a dual rear camera setup. The primary sensor is a 13MP unit with f/2.0 aperture paired with a 2MP secondary depth-sensing unit. There is also support for Phase detection autofocus. The 8MP front-facing camera handles the selfie duties. The inbuilt proprietary camera application is pre-loaded with a lot of options. There is also support for full-fledged manual camera mode.

The device runs Android 9.0 out of the box and all this is backed by a whopping 4050 mAh battery. The Moto E6s is available in two colors: Rich Cranberry and Polished Graphite. The device will be available from September 23 on Flipkart. The price starts at 7,999 INR.

Motorola Smart TV’s Specifications and Features

The company has launched six variants of the Motorola Smart TVs. The 32-inch model starts at 13,999 INR. This variant also comes with HDR support out-of-the box. The 43-inch variant is made available at 24,999 INR. The same variant with 4K panel comes for 29,999 INR. 4K 50-inch variant is available at 33,999 INR whereas the 55-inch comes from 39,999 INR. Lastly, the top-end 4K 65-inch variant has a price tag of 64,999 INR.

As far as the features are concerned, these TV’s comes with autotuneX display tech. AutotuneX involves HDR10, Dolby Vision and etc. All these TVs come with amphisoundX technology with 30W front-facing speakers which do support Dolby Atmos. Also, these TVs come with 2.25GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. Motorola TV’s run Android 9 Pie and also come packed with a wireless gamepad. Talking about the gaming, Mali 450 GPU handles the graphics duties.

The Smart TV’s will be available on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days. The sale starts on September 29. Finally, we have tough competition for Mi Smart TVs. Releasing Smart TV’s is a great move by Motorola considering the fact that OnePlus TV’s are around the corner.
