Lenovo backed Motorola has no finally launched the Moto G7 in India along with the Moto One smartphone today in India. Notably, the Moto G7 series debuted in Brazil a few months ago. Mutually the two phones are launched in the mid-range segment. With the new launch, Motorola aims to compete with the like of Xiaomi, Realme, and Asus. That said, the Motorola One is an Android One smartphone and apparently, a toned down version of last year’s Motorola One Power.
Moto G7: Specifications, Features
The Moto G7 is Lenovo’s first smartphone in India with a water drop notch. The device boasts a 5.2-inch Max Vision Full HD+ display with a U-shaped water drop notch and minimal bezels around the display.
Under the hood, the Moto G7 is powered by a Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The Moto G7 runs Android 9 Pie with Moto features such as Quick Capture, Fast Flashlight and Attentive Display etc.
For photography, the phone gets a dual camera setup at the back. The setup comprises a 12MP primary camera along with the 5MP secondary camera. The Moto camera app is equipped with native Google Lens support as well as a true depth Portrait mode. Other features like Spot Color, Cinema graph and Auto Smile Capture and other features takes presence.
Furthermore, the device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and carries support for 15W Turbo Power fast charging. Just like the other phones at this range, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Moto One: Specifications, Features
The looks and overall design of the Motorola One bear a resemblance to the last year’s Motorola One Power. That said, the Motorola One features a 5.9-inch HD+ Max Vision panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio along with that wide notch.
Moto One comes with 4GB RAM and 64 GB inbuilt option and gets powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset. To recall, the One Power was launched with a relatively more powerful Snapdragon 636 chip.
The Motorola One gets a dual camera arrangement on the back. There is a 13 Megapixels primary camera coupled with a 2MP secondary camera. Whereas, there is an 8-megapixel unit at the front. A 3000mAh battery backs the handset and also supports 15W Turbo Power fast charging, just like the G7.
Moto G7, Moto One: Price, Availability and Offers
The Lenovo has priced Moto G7 at 16,999 INR whereas the Moto One will retail at 13,999 INR. Both the phones will be available starting today via Flipkart, Moto Hub stores, and other offline stores. The Moto G7 and the Moto One are thrown in Clear White and Ceramic Black colour variants.
There aren’t many options to choose from as the company has launched only a single variant for both the devices. Taking about the offers, Jio users should get cash back up to INR 2,200 once they buy either of the two new Motorola phones. The cashback will be appropriate on 198 INR and 299 INR recharge plans.
