Created by Francesca Sloane and Donald Glover, Mr. & Mrs. Smith is an American spy television series where Glover also stars in a lead role alongside Maya Erskine. It is based on the 2005 film of the same name.

The first season of Mr. and Mrs. Smith concluded in a very frustrating note but left the scope of further explotation. The Smiths are trapped inside their residence and John is badly injured. Jane has only one bullet in her gun to defeat two trained killers and the mid-credits scene stated that there was some struggle involved. However, there is no clarity on which one of them turned out to be a winner in the end. The new season is supposed to answer this question or end on a cliffhanger for another time.
