Day also served as an executive producer of the show alongside Megan Ganz, David Hornsby, Rob McElhenney, David Gordon Green, Nicholas Frenkel, Michael Rotenberg, Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik and Gérard Guillemot.
The series premiered on February 7, 2020, The second season premiered on May 7, 2021. In October 2021, the series was renewed for a third and fourth season.

Mythic Quest Plot and Cast
As mentioned before, the series is based on the creation of the famous video game Mythic Quest. The previous 2 seasons dealt with how the game was created, and in season 2, it seemed that they were pretty close to almost creating the game.
However, at the very last crucial moment, it was found out that the team had dispersed out of nowhere. David faced many obstacles in his relationships but always found his work relationships reliable, so his conditions could not be imagined when he found out his co-worker friends were parting their ways.
First, Rachel& Dana parted their ways from the team, following which Ian & Poppy Li also parted their ways from the team; hence all these changes will affect David in ways that he might be unable to cope with. So now, the only people left behind working on the game are David & Joe. Therefore, it will be quite interesting to explore how they will take the project from here in season 3.

Mythic Quest Season 3 Release Date
In October 2021, there was an announcement by Apple TV to renew seasons 3 and 4. The third season is now scheduled to premiere on November 11, 2022.
The makers have not revealed the episode numbers or show running time yet. But we can assume that it might consist of 10 episodes like the previous seasons.
