The series premiered on October 9, 2019.
Starring Kennedy McMann, the show is the third Nancy Drew television series, following The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries (1977–1979) and a 1995 Canadian-American version.
ABOUT: Nancy Drew is a recently graduated high school student taking a gap year, spending her days waitressing at The Claw and her nights with her secret affair Ned “Nick” Nickerson. She is also mourning the death of her mother, Katherine Drew, and has stopped solving mysteries. Her relationship with her father, Carson Drew, is strained due to Carson withholding the severity of her mother’s illness which didn’t allow her to say goodbye.
Season 2 premiered on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 9 P.M ET on The CW.
The new season follows the legendary teen detective as she solves mysteries – both earthbound and supernatural – in her haunted hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine. Nancy (Kennedy McMann) leads a sleuthing team of unlikely friends: George Fan (Leah Lewis), whose clairvoyant heritage will emerge through her encounters with the paranormal; Bess Marvin (Maddison Jaizani), a con artist and heiress with multiple lady admirers; Ned “Nick” Nickerson (Tunji Kasim), Nancy’s ex and George’s boyfriend, a gifted mechanic with a tragic past; and philosophical slacker Ace (Alex Saxon), whose computer-hacking skills have caused secret troubles that will soon be exposed.
