In March 2021, Disney officially greenlit the TV series for Disney+. Cormac and Marianne are the executive producers of the show alongside Jerry Bruckheimer, Rick Muirragui, Jon Turteltaub, Jonathan Littman, KristieAnne Reed, and Mira Nair.

National Treasure Plot and Cast
According to Deadline, the series will see Jess and her friends on a mission to unravel the mysteries of Jess’ family history. Considering she’s described as a DREAMer, it seems likely that Jess’ journey will touch on issues of national identity and heritage. And don’t worry: there’s also a hidden treasure in the mix, as well.
At this early stage, we may not know too much about the upcoming National Treasure Disney+ series. But it already sounds like Bruckheimer and company are getting ready to give fans exactly what they have been waiting for.
The main cast includes Lisette Alexis as Jess Morales, Lyndon Smith as FBI Agent Ross, Zuri Reed as Tasha, Jake Austin Walker as Liam, Antonio Cipriano as Oren, Jordan Rodrigues as Ethan and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Billie.
National Treasure Release Date
As for now, it is too early to declare the release date of the show, as it is under development. Since principal photography began in February 2022, we can expect the series towards the end of 2022 or early 2023.
The number of episodes for the brand new show has not been revealed yet. The makers are yet to announce other details related to the show.
