Necromunda: Underhive Wars – Release Date and Gameplay!

Rogue Factor and Focus Home Interactive presented Warhammer fans with the first glimpse of Necromunda: Underhive Wars, a strategy game focused on the popular Games Workshop.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars did receive attention during this year’s Gamescom event with a trailer that disclosed more detailed information about all of the factions and also indicated the launch date of the console.

Deep beneath Necromunda’s hive cities, lead, customize and grow your gang in the dystopian Underhive’s twisted tunnels. Battle competing gangs for strength, riches, life, and respect in tactical gunfights.

Release Date

Necromunda: Underhive Wars which will be launched simultaneously on PCs and platforms, including PS4 and Xbox One, on 8 September.

Gameplay

Necromunda is a term that anyone who enjoys their tabletop gaming should be immediately acquainted with. This is a skirmishing spin-off from the ever-popular Warhammer 40,000 series, developed by Games Workshop in 1995.

Deep beneath Necromunda’s nightmarish, filthy hive cities, in the twisting, vertiginous, dark tunnels of the Underhive, competing gangs fight to the bitter end for their home’s strength, riches, life, and dignity. Just the fiercest live.

Manage, configure, and create your Escher, Goliath, and Orlock gangs. Specialize and submit each participant to fight in risky dystopian worlds. Take advantage of the landscape in defensive gunfights: ascend elevated walkways to take advantage of them, set up obstacles, and ambush opponents to drive them into gruesome melee engagements.
