Neon Abyss is out now! Gameplay and Features!

Neon Abyss is a wild, antagonist action platformer where you’re running ‘n’ shooting your way into the Abyss. With unlimited synergies of items and a special dungeon evolution system, each run diversifies the experience, and each decision changes the rules set.

The frenetic roguelike adventure platformer made its debut for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 14.

Gameplay

Combining violent run ‘n’ gun combat and dark, twisted gameplay, Neon Abyss casts you as a member of the ‘Grim Team’, a task force formed up by Hades himself to conquer the Abyss and kill the New Gods. Death is not the limit, because every time you die, you will find yourself more motivated than ever before.

If you advance through each dungeon, random drops will be the secret to helping you enter the Abyss. These passive effects will accumulate with each object. With no limit to how many will apply, a wide range of variations can make every run special.

Evolution of the Dungeon

With-race, new rooms, objects, bosses, special rules and even new endings will be unlocked! It ensures that any dungeon is exclusive and expandable, customized to your style of play.

Mini Plays

Take a break from fighting orcs and taking part in mini-games that will even steal any loot away from you! Move to the Piano Shows, the Mediation Challenge, the Dance contest, and more!

Fight with new gods

Fight a lot of challenging bosses in the dungeons, and take on challenging administrators who guard the road to further advancement across the Neon Abyss. Each boss’s loss will give you things for your current race, but also money to spend on potential races!

Hatch and evolution of pets

Gain some company in the darkness by gathering eggs to hatch and transforming pets into strong companions. These floating buddies are going to give you extra-strength, deflect bullets, and more!
