About Moesha TV Sitcom
Moesha aired on UPN from 23 January 1996 to 14 May 2001. The series stars the famous R&B singer Brandy Norwood as Moesha Denise Mitchell. Moesha is a high school student living with her family in the Leimert Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The show was primarily ordered as a pilot for CBS’ 1995–1996 television season but the network rejected the sitcom. UPN picked it later and aired it as a mid-season replacement.
