“You cannot choose what comes at you here. It’s like the frontlines” This line from a doctor at Lenox Hill hospital pretty much captures whats like working at a hospital. Netflix brings up a new documentary series that will focus on 4 doctors of NYC’s Lenox Hill as they carry out their day to day tasks.
The documentaries focus on how these frontline healthcare warriors manage their work and their personal lives. Doctors carry on their duty of saving lives but it takes a heavy toll on their mental health. Death and injury are things that they have to deal with on a daily basis. But still, they are focused on their work: saving lives. According to Netflix’s description, the documentary series will provide an intimate look at the lives of four doctors two brain surgeons, an emergency room physician, and a Chief Resident OBGYN as they perform their daily work at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
As one of the doctors from the documentary puts it “Humanity, empathy that has to drive the decision making.”
