Netflix documentary series on Jeffrey Epstein case

A real-life Gatsby-like figure! Who used his wealth and power to sexually abuse underage girls. Jeffrey was so powerful that he could bend anything his way. Even the extremely impartial American judicial system too! But the collective might of all Jeffrey’s victims was something he couldn’t bend his way. After years of an accusation of sexual assault of underage girls, he was finally taken to jail in 2019. Even after  Jeffrey’s death in 2019, the survivors are not yet satisfied. They want the noose to be tightened against Jeffrey’s powerful friends. They want justice, not from people like him but the justice system which made deals with an influential criminal.

Netflix brings back to focus an episode from the American justice system where a sex offender Jeffrey Epstein made a deal with the government to evade jail. Jeffrey Epstein owned an island in the Caribbean and his wealth beyond which a common man can fathom. His mysterious lifestyle yet powerful friends that could save him from any problem.

This four-part documentary“Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich” was directed by Lisa Bryant, written by Peter Landesman, and executive produced by Joe Berlinger. The series is based on a book by James Patterson.

The series wants to bring out the stories from the survivors out in the public. This series will also investigate Jeffrey’s mysterious death. Although proclaimed suicide, the details arouse suspicion. Was it a method to silence Epstein by his powerful friends? We may never know the complete truth until his influential friends are still at large.
